Every number, labeled by how we got it.

Observed numbers come from your site, your listing or a live engine answer. Estimated numbers come from a model or from a stated assumption, and say so. Computed numbers are weighted rollups of the two. Nothing on a RankAutomatic report claims more than we measured.

Every metric on a RankAutomatic report

MetricKindSourceHow it is built
Google Business Profile (GBP) completenessObservedYour public Google listingEight fields checked for presence: category, services, photos, hours, phone, address, description, website.
Reviews scoreComputedRating and review count from your listing60% rating band, 40% volume band. Held constant in the after-fixes score because reviews take months, not fixes.
On-site SEOObservedA crawl of your homepage and main pagesTitles, meta descriptions, H1s, canonicals, viewport, noindex, broken links, image weight, and Core Web Vitals measured in a lab run through PageSpeed Insights (not field data).
Structured dataObservedJSON-LD found in your HTMLWhich schema.org types are present and which local types are missing.
AI readinessObservedYour homepage HTML, robots.txt and llms.txtSixteen yes/no signals an AI assistant needs to act on your business: tel links, booking, prices, hours, FAQ, about page, credentials, dates, llms.txt and crawler access. Twelve render under AI readiness; the rest sit with schema, profile, or on-site.
AI presenceObservedLive questions asked of AI assistants (the monthly member check: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews)The free report asks up to three AI assistants two questions about a business like yours and shows what they answered. Members get the check every month, or every week on Pro and National, with up to 20 or 50 questions.
Traditional SEO scoreComputedThe pillars aboveWeighted: profile completeness 40%, reviews 30%, technical 30%. Deep audits let the crawl carry 65% of the SEO score.
AI visibility scoreComputedStructured data and profile completenessA citability preview, 50/50. The full engine scan runs for members.
Score after fixesComputedThe same weightsEvery pillar the report tells you to fix set to 100; reviews left as measured. It is a ceiling for the fixes on the page, not a prediction of rankings.
Local market revenueEstimatedSearch volume for your main service and a category-average customer valueDirectional. Volume comes from a paid keyword index; we assume a 25% share of that demand reaches the ranking businesses and use a category-average customer value. Both assumptions are stated on the report.
Keyword saturation and content qualityEstimatedA language model applying a fixed rubricThe rubric and weights are fixed so the headline number is reproducible from the factor breakdown.
Local pack rank and geo-gridObservedPaid Google Maps lookups at each grid pointMembers only. Each scan is a real lookup; we never show a sample map as if it were yours.

Our link policy

No link exchanges, no paid links, no link networks. Google's spam policy names all three, and a penalty lands on your site, not on the tool that arranged it. RankAutomatic only looks for links you can earn: pages that genuinely list or mention businesses like yours, vetted for spam first. It never offers a link back, a payment, or anything of value in return, and it never emails anyone in your name.

Our content policy

Every AI draft is scored against a fixed editorial rubric before it can auto-publish, and a rolling average across recent drafts pauses autopilot if quality slips. Every draft records the AI model that wrote it. Nothing is published to your site or GBP without your approval unless you switch autopilot on for that channel.

The Google guidelines we follow

We read Google's own rules and build to them: earned links only, no fake reviews and no review gating, GBP profile changes (description, categories, services, attributes) made through Google's official Business Profile API only after a person approves them, posts and replies that follow your approval or autopilot setting, and no shared passwords. Read the sources yourself.
